Our Rackmount LCD monitor drawers are designed for professional rack environments requiring integrated display access within a sliding chassis. Combining a high-quality LCD panel with a retractable drawer mechanism, these monitor drawers provide a compact, space-efficient solution for server racks,...
An LCD monitor drawer combines two core components:
A rack-mounted LCD display
A sliding drawer assembly for controlled extension and storage
Unlike a fixed panel, a monitor drawer allows the screen to be pulled out when required and securely stored when not in use. This configuration improves rack accessibility while protecting the display during transport or when space must remain clear.
Our LCD drawer models are available in multiple rack unit heights and screen sizes, including widely specified 17” and 19” formats.
Key Features & Configuration Options
When selecting LCD monitor drawers, consider the following specification areas:
Screen Size & Resolution
Options include standard and widescreen LCD panels, high brightness and high resolution options with HD and Full HD resolution variants to suit server monitoring, diagnostics, and control interfaces.
Video Interface Compatibility
Models support common inputs such as VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort, ensuring integration with legacy and modern systems.
Rack Height (U Size)
Available in 1U rackmount and larger formats, depending on screen size and mechanical design.
Chassis Depth
Short-depth LCD drawer configurations are available for shallow cabinets and mobile racks.
In these environments, the ability to extend and retract the display supports operational efficiency while maintaining a clean rack profile.
Built for Professional Rack Integration by Rackmount Sales
Each LCD monitor drawer in our range is constructed using industrial-grade components and durable metal chassis assemblies to support continuous operation. Designed for stability, smooth extension, and secure locking, these monitor drawers are suited to demanding technical environments where reliability is essential.
An LCD monitor drawer is engineered specifically for 19” rack integration and professional IT or industrial environments. A monitor stand with drawers is generally a desktop accessory and is not suitable for rack-mounted infrastructure.
Many LCD drawer models are built with an industrial-grade metal chassis for durability. For transportable racks or environments subject to vibration or temperature variation, specification guidance is recommended to ensure stability.
Most LCD monitor drawers include compatible rack mounting hardware. Installation requirements vary by cabinet type, so confirm rail compatibility and load capacity before use.
